We are a team of experienced attorney recruiters, specializing in full cycle recruiting of all levels of permanent attorney placement. We match all levels of of Associates, Of Counsel, Partners, and In-House Counsel candidates with our clients throughout the Puget Sound and Greater Portland regions. Our clients are law firms of all sizes and practice areas, as well as, legal departments of small and large companies in our region. MEET THE TEAM

As our Founder and President, Tammy manages TLG’s attorney placement practice, partnering with decision-makers at large, mid-sized, and boutique law firms, as well as corporate legal departments, in providing top attorney talent. Tammy specializes in full cycle recruiting for all levels of permanent attorney placement, from associates to partners, to in-house general counsel and corporate counsel roles. After five years as an attorney practicing real estate law, Tammy went in-house with a developer client, developing condos and small shopping centers around the Puget Sound Region. During the economic crisis of 2008, Tammy pivoted to legal recruiting, where she could combine her legal background with her networking skills. She worked as a Division Director for the legal recruiting team of one of the world’s largest recruiting agencies, gaining nine years of legal recruiting experience prior to launching her own agency: TLG Legal Search, LLC. Tammy earned a BA in Government and Politics from George Mason University and her JD from Seattle University School of Law.

Tammy’s extensive experience as both a lawyer and recruiter allow her to uniquely understand the needs of law firms and legal departments, the career desires of attorneys, and the economic influences on both hiring practices and candidate decisions, making her a great asset to TLG Legal Search and our clients. Her candor and ability to have direct conversations with her candidates and clients ensure a right fit is found for all involved; this has earned her trusting relationships with the people she represents. She loves that her job allows her to meet so many interesting people on a weekly basis and has filled her network with so many amazing, and inspiring professionals.

Tammy and her husband live on their sailboat in the San Juans during the summer months, and head to Palm Springs for the winter.to spend a few months in the warm California sunshine. She also enjoys Mariner baseball games, live music on the weekends, and international travel; her most recent trip was to Italy and sailing in Croatia. She is all about dogs, and currently manages a pack of three senior fur babies. Every few years she gets the itch to adopt another senior rescue dog, and recently sent Nina Simone, her sixteen-year-old Yorkie-Poo to her final resting place.

ABOUT US

Todd comes from a long line of born and raised Pacific Northwesterners. He spent most of his childhood in Portland, until a family move took them to Bellingham, where he’s lived ever since.

Todd developed an interest in law enforcement through an internship with campus police, while completing his undergraduate degree at Washington State University. After earning his B.A. in Criminal Justice, he spent over twenty years in Juvenile Justice and Law Enforcement, including a fifteen-year career at the Burlington Police Department as a Field Training Officer and Detective. Later, he founded a private investigations firm and worked as a legal defense investigator. Todd also spent five years as an industrial insurance fraud investigator with the Washington Department Of Labor and Industries.

He developed both an intrinsic skill and passion for investigation; tackling a complicated issue and not stopping until he finds a solution. This made Todd an ideal addition to TLG Legal Search! In 2022, Todd joined Tammy’s team, where he provides candidates with dream job opportunities to advance their careers and assist clients to find the best talent solutions.

Todd’s true passion is sailing, a love of the wind and sea he inherited from his Grandfather and Father, who both taught him to sail at the wee age of four years. In the summertime you’ll find him sailing in the San Juan Islands. Todd is also a magnificent chef, says his family, and loves hosting dinner parties down at his Palm Springs winter home. When he’s not on the water, his hobby is spending quality time with the family dogs.
